Dear Friends,
We at Alliance Bible Church are committed to glorifying Jesus Christ in all we do. Our vision, ”To know Jesus Christ, demonstrate His love, and make disciples”, reflects our focus for ministry. Our values are the guidelines by which we carry out each ministry. We don’t accomplish this perfectly, but through the Holy Spirit we are empowered to live our vision to accomplish our values. We invite you to join us as we follow God’s leading to build and equip His followers and express His desire for those in our community and the world to be in full relationship with Him. ABC is a place for you to grow in Christ and become part of a biblical community seeking to live out the vision He has given us.
The most vital decision we will ever make is “Who do I think that Jesus Christ is?” We believe that our life is to be offered to him, first in knowing that it only through His paying for sin in His death and then conquering death through His resurrection that we can be reconciled to God and have the promise of eternity with Him. But then every day, our desire is to know what it means to be in an intimate relationship with Jesus, and to follow Him in everything that I do.
It is one thing to talk about loving others; it is another to truly show it by action. We long to be a church community that lives out what God said was of great importance. Both within the church, and to those who are in our sphere of influence, we will commit to loving each other even if it is costly to us that we might love others as we are loved by God.
Make Disciples
Never in the Bible are we invited to become a convert, someone who believes by giving mental assent to biblical truth. We are called to be “disciples,” followers of Jesus Christ that commit to understanding and living out His call upon our lives. Discipleship is learning that it is not primarily about me, but rather it is who Jesus Christ has called me to be, and being willing to submit to that lifelong transformational process.
