Healing Ministry Opportunities: A team from the Navigators will be with us Feb. 23-March 1st.  They will be offering opportunities for healing prayer (giving God opportunities to heal past wounds).  If you are interested in this, please contact Jeff @ 562-3238.

 

 

Praise Dance:  Praise dance practice occurs Sundays at 5pm.  Through song and dance, school-age children learn creative worship.  The praise dance team is recruiting older children (through junior high school-age) interested in performing skits.  Contact the church office at 562-3238 for more information.

 

 

Children’s Ministry Opportunity:  Sunday School hall monitors serve as assistants for the teachers in our Sunday School program. They will often act as a second pair of hands in the classroom, or work one-on-one with a child who is experiencing difficulties in the classroom. They are also trained in emergency evacuation procedures.  Please prayerfully consider how the Lord might use you in this ministry.  Your commitment would be one hour, once a month.  Please contact the church office for more information:  562-3238.

 

 

Children’s Church:  There continues to be a need for regular Children’s Church teachers.  Please consider consistently serving one Sunday per month.  Second, third, and fourth Sundays are available.  Contact the church office to sign up.

 

 

All-Church Potluck:  The deaconesses are coordinating a potluck for Sunday, February 24th immediately following service.  Please mark your calendars now!  More information will be forthcoming.

 

 

Job Opening:  Please be aware that the church continues to seek qualified applicants for the part time administrative position in the church office.  Please contact Jeff at 562-3238.

 

 

Attention Readers and Booklovers!:  If like to read, consider joining a book discussion group.  The next selection is “Patrick” by Stephen L. Lawhead, a fictionalized retelling of the life of St. Patrick.  The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 18th, at 5:30pm.  Potluck dinner.  For more information, or to get the current reading list, contact the church.
