Farewell Reception: Today is the last Sunday at which long-time church members, Tom and Marilyn Bryan, will be worshipping with us. In recognition of their immeasurable contribution to the ABC family, please join us immediately after service today for cake and well-wishings. A basket will be available for written messages of encouragement and thanks. Tom and Marilyn: may God bless you on this next great adventure! You will be dearly missed.
Get-To-Know-You Social: If you are a new attendee of Alliance Bible Church, and would like to have a chance to get acquainted with other ABC attenders, you are invited to the Sexauer home (3401 Halyards Circle) on April 6th from 3-5pm for a time of fellowship and fun.
Ladies Retreat: Ladies, do you need fellowship, both physical and spiritual?
Then don’t miss the April 25th – 27th ladies’ retreat at Solid Rock Bible Camp. Tuition is $85, and includes lodging, meals, and activities. Partial and full scholarships are available. Carpooling is also an option.
Upcoming Baptism: A baptism is being planned for the near future. If you feel God leading you to make this public proclamation of faith, or to learn more about baptism, please contact Pastor Jeff at the church office (562-3238).
Conference for Men: Alaska Men’s Ministries is sponsoring the Every Man Conference on April 11th and 12th at ChangePoint. The speaker is Kenny Luck, author of Every Man, God’s Man, and Men’s Minister at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. Learn how to strongly connect with God and with godly men to produce the character of Jesus Christ. The Friday session is 7pm-9pm; the Saturday session is 8am-1pm. The cost is $50 (or $45 if your register by March 25th). Online sign-up is at www.akmensministries.com, or contact the ABC office. Brochures are available.
Praise Dance Fundraiser: The Praise Dance team is hosting a fundraiser to provide backpacks filled with Bibles and healthy snack food for the Gospel Mission. The fundraiser will be at the church on Friday, April 11th. There will be a family movie, and a silent auction bake sale. The bake sale silent auction will begin at 6pm; the movie starts at 6:30pm. Admission is by donation.
More Announcements …
Kidz Klass: A financial stewardship class for kids (K-6), “In God We Trust,” is being offered on April 13th and 20th, and May 4th and 11th. Each session is 90 minutes long, and will begin immediately following the worship service. Lunch will be served.

The Easter Brunch was a huge success and the Deaconesses would like to thank all who helped. It was our prayer that God would be glorified in all that was done. Dear ABC Family:
I want to reiterate Claudia’s appreciation for everyone who made Easter Services so special. Thanks to the deacons and deaconesses, and everyone else who helped during the all-church clean up. Special thanks to the wonderful and creative deaconesses who time and again manage to transform our humble fellowship hall into a banquet hall fit for a King.
Extra special thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in the production of Easter’s Praise Dance Team performance: to Jennifer Christensen-Bowers for her vision and dedication; to Sara Mason, Jennifer’s “right-hand person”; to Christina Gomez for sharing her gifts and training as a costume designer; to Pat Coyne for her wonderful narration; to Jaime Stafford for assisting with kids at practices; and to Megan Bowers for set and costume design. These leaders, and the kids of the Praise Dance Team, all worked very hard to beautifully share the joy of the risen Christ.
