Northern Lights coupon books are here!!  If you are interested in purchasing the 2007-2008 Northern Lights Coupon book, please see Gary Sossamon after service in the foyer.  Make checks payable to: GREAT NORTHERN PUBLISHING for $50.00/per book.

Women Bible Study:  The women’s bible study will be delivering Thanksgiving food baskets on November 12th.  We have the opportunity to participate by contributing either food or cash donations.  You may also donate funds by writing Thanksgiving donation in the memo line. There is a sign-up sheet on the information table with suggested food items.  Please sign-up by November 4th and ensure the items are delivered by to the church by November 11th.

Children’s Ministries: There are numerous opportunities for you to “demonstrate Christ’s love” to the children of our church through teaching and care taking.  Our preference is that individuals/couples would commit to serving 1 Sunday a month on an on-going basis in each children’s ministry. The following ministries are in need of temporary and long-term volunteers:

Both the Preschool Children Church and the Elementary Children Church have easy to follow curriculum and individuals willing to train and equip you for service.  Separate sign-up sheets for each of the above ministries are located on the information table in the Fellowship Hall. Please stop by the table or call the ministry coordinators to discover where you might be able to serve.

 

Congregational meeting:  Attention all members…please plan to attend a brief congregational meeting on November 4th, beginning immediately following service.  We will be electing two members to the 2008 nominating committee.

At Alliance Bible Church.

 

The Fair will commence November 4, 2007, right after church, throughout the church.  Food will be provided through the ministry of the deaconesses.  Grab a bite and explore the church, top to bottom.  See ministries on display in the fellowship hall and in their natural environment.  Learn about the ministries available for your spiritual growth and development…Discover where God wants you to minister to and through this Body! 

 

Those who are running booths will have three opportunities to set up for the fair.  Please look at the times below to see when it is best for you to do so:

 

Saturday, November 3:  9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Sunday, November 4: 8:30 a.m.- 9:00 a.m.

Sunday, November 4: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

 

If your booth is in a room, be aware that you may be unable to set up during Sunday School if that room is in use. There will be no opportunity to set up after church, due to the congregational meeting directly following church and immediately preceding the fair.
