There will be an informational meeting, immediately following service
on January 13th to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding
the 2008 Budget and Nominations. This change
in the structure of the annual meeting has been made, under the advisement of
our district, to replace lengthy discussion during the annual meeting with a
time of celebrating what God has done during the past year. You may ask any Elder or Board of Operation
member questions regarding the budget and nominations at any time, but the
meeting next week will be your designated opportunity to publically
address any questions you may have.
The
Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 20th, 6pm. The budget and nominations have been posted
in the entry way and the fellowship hall for your review. Copies of both may be picked up on the
information table in the Fellowship Hall.
Membership Class: There will be an
informational class for those interested in becoming members of Alliance Bible
Church, January 13th at 5:00pm, at the home of the Wiesingers, 3131 Sleeping Lady Lane (maps are available
upon request). Dinner provided. Please contact the church office @ 562-3238
for more information.
Calendar Planning Meeting: If you would like to have someth
ing placed on the
2008 church calendar, please submit it to the church office by February 3rd. All committee heads and ministry leaders need
to attend a calendar planning meeting on February 10th, immediately
following service.
Angel Tree Update: Thank you all
for your generous support of the Angel Tree ministry throughout the month of
December. A total of $1,875 was given to
support the ministry and a total of 132 children received gifts. A number of individuals also assisted in the
distribution of the gifts to the homes of the children. Please be in prayer throughout the 2008 year
for each of these children, that they may know they are loved and cherished by
God and by others.
