Announcements …

The Annual Meeting is scheduled for tonight January 20^th at 6pm. The budget and nominations have been posted in the entry way and the fellowship hall for your review. Copies of the Annual Report may be picked up on the information table in the Fellowship Hall.

Church potluck tonight prior to the Annual Meeting. Potluck starts at 5:00 pm. A-L bring a hot dish and a salad and M-Z bring a hot dish and a dessert

Calendar Planning Meeting: If you would like to have something placed on the 2008 church calendar, please submit it to the church office by February 3^rd. All committee heads and ministry leaders need to attend a calendar planning meeting on February 10^th, immediately following service.

Praise Dance: There will be no praise dance practice until February 3^rd at 5pm.

CPC Pregnancy Center Volunteer Training: CPC will be holding a training seminar on February 8^th – 9^th – 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Snacks and lunch provided. For more information there will be a brochure on the back table.

There can be no Love INC in Anchorage without partnering churches. Love INC’s ministry is accomplished through volunteers who freely offer their time and talents. When a person contacts the Love INC call center for help, we assess their situation and connect them with partnering churches. The Church Ministry Coordinator (CMC) links the need with the appropriate volunteer.

There are a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer service. As you review the Love INC Talent Survey, please prayerfully consider how God might use your time and talents. You will have the opportunity to complete the survey next Sunday. The information you provide by completing the Talent Survey will be entered into Love INC’s database of available services. As specific needs arise that correspond to your offered talent, you will be contacted. Your Church Ministry Coordinator Becky Durkee is available to answer any questions.

Next Sunday Elaine Phillipps and a board member from Love INC will be here to encourage us in our participation, both corporately and individually.
